It's now Monday morning , and finally i have some time to blog a bit. It have been some very busy weeks , i have to admit. We have been working 14 hours a week lately ( which is a lot) , but Saturday night we had the premiere of La Bohème , and everything went well. Tonight we have the second run and Wednesday the last one. Almost finished . Up till now it all went well, and although there is no reason to be nervous , i am nervous anyway. 1400 people watching the opera creates a certain pressure. Today i am already nervous for the show of tonight. The adrenaline when the show starts is nice to feel. That's why i do this work in the end. And after every show i always feel empty, and content.
Saturday , I went to the carnival with Marco. I already went Friday night , but without the costume. It isn't as funny but I wanted to go out. And for the few days a year they let you drink out in the streets i had to grab the chance with both hands. ( which i did ). Saturday i was dressed up as bitch. And after the opera i went running home to change , and then we left for the carnival.
I was supposed to meet some friends at the carnival . With all the Smurfs , Prostitutes , Skeletons , Cavemen, Ghosts, Discoqueens , .......... I managed to find just a few friends. It is impossible to find someone over there. I was lucky to go with Marco , so i had some good company. I had a ball and finished the night at 9 o clock at some after party , in a discotheque where I'd never go to being sober.
Yesterday noon we had a lunch with all the colleagues of work. A Canarian BBQ , which is strange and not so nice. It's always the same food and people don't sit down to eat. I like to sit at a table when i eat. Makes everything more tastier. The rest of my Sunday i spend doing nothing and sleeping. Which i earned the last two weeks.
Tonight it's the last carnival party , but i don't think that i am going over there. Dress up for second time and all that stuff. Although tomorrow we have a day off. Well it depends on who is going , i still haven't found me a girlfriend yet. And it's about time i do so.
