Two completely different styles of music i have to admit. But one doesn't have to narrow his musicmind too much. If you want to hear what this music is about i have to redirect you to my space account. i hope that one of you adds me as a friend, it's a nice way to follow all your favorite music on the web. And you can name yourself a friend of Brian Molko
Well ,on saturday , Agonoize played in Vlissingen , an harbour town in the South of Holland . I went with Bagge and Emily. I had worked in the morning and was realy tired but i went along anyway. And it was worthwile. A nice festival in an old theatre , the sound wasn't realy what it had to be , but hey it's about the music. And i'm always pleased to spend some time in a country that isn't mine. Dutch people are so sweet to hang out with. Well i just went for Agonoize , and they played a nice set. Although they messed up at the end of their show. it was like they played a few songs at the same time. I think the beatmaster didn't know he was messing up and that made it ok. For the rest i saw In Strict Conficence ( too mellow for me) and Cruxshadows ( apparently the new hitwonder in gothland ). They sounded like Henry and the Angry Inch in electroversion. Very , very American. You have to like it, but i didn't. I have to listen to one of their cd's because i think they are ok on cd. The funny thing was that the singer wanted to hug the whole crowd, again very USA, and to me me it looked like a strange thing to do on a dark electro festival.

On monday i went to see Sr Coconut in Leuven. Seeing concerts on a monday are heavy, there were not so much people and just a few latinos. And it was prohibited to smoke in the theatre so it's my first concert in ages without smoking 'stuff' on certain songs. So there was no mambodancing like the time i saw them on Womad in las palmas. A few months ago i bought their new disc Fiebre Amarilla , and played it so often that i know every song. On the concert they played few songs of it, and after a while they switched to their Kraftwerk covers and their hits. I shouted when they started Smoke on the Water that he had to sing it in spanish, much better, but he just sang it in English, otherwise the cold Belgians wouldn't like it. Although Sr Coconut is an all German ensemble , except for Brito who is Venezolano , i prefer to see them on latino ground. Much more fun.
I think for x mass i'm going to buy a new camera, this one just isn't enough to take pictures in dark environments. Please Reyes think of me.
